Our job is to make Kubernetes decisions easier to assess. Every recommendation should tell you what it is based on and where its limits are.

Sources and testing

We prefer the project’s documentation, release notices and maintained repositories. “Sourced guidance” means the claims have linked primary sources. “Tested” requires a recorded environment, versions, commands and observed results. A rendered manifest alone is not an installation test.

Explain the problem before the procedure

Introductions explain the problem a reader faces, what the named tools do and why someone would use them. Technical terms are explained before they become part of the comparison. A comparison gives each product a brief overview and recommends different options for concrete situations, rather than declaring an unsupported universal winner.

Historical content

Recovered articles and comparison tables retain their historical context. Their dates are not changed to make them appear current. Old commands, prices, benchmarks and compatibility claims must be checked against the current project documentation before use.

Maintenance status

We distinguish a project, its chart distribution and its container images. An archived chart does not necessarily mean the project is retired. Unknown maintenance remains unknown. Sources and review dates accompany lifecycle explanations.

AI and human review

AI helps prepare drafts, inspect evidence and run checks. The owner approves publication. We do not invent a human test, a benchmark or an author’s personal experience.

Commercial independence

The goal is to build a trusted publication before adding sponsorships or referrals. Any future paid placement or referral relationship must be disclosed where it appears. Commercial relationships must not decide comparison results.

Corrections

When a factual correction changes a recommendation, we update the affected passage, its source and the meaningful review date. See contact and corrections.
