Creating the same cloud machines and networks by hand is slow and easy to get wrong. Cloud automation records those steps in code or configuration so they can be reviewed and repeated. Tools such as Terraform describe infrastructure; cloud command-line tools perform individual operations.
Begin when you can explain what the resources do and which account they belong to. Automate one small environment, including its removal, before expanding to a whole platform. The preserved course outline below is a subject map, not an active enrollment offer.
Cloud automation practice
Use an isolated learning account or project with a budget and a cleanup plan. Learn identity and least privilege before automating compute or network creation. Build one reproducible environment, review its plan, then destroy it and verify that billable resources are gone.
Keep credentials out of source control and distinguish state from configuration. Practice a failed deployment and interrupted cleanup. The old outline remains a topic map; it does not provide a current free-trial entitlement, validated lab or active enrolment.
